1. Agreement

By downloading, installing, or purchasing a license for MacHands (“the Software”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

The Software is first-party desktop utility software developed and sold by Tianxin Wang under the MacHands brand (also MacDisk AI / 外盘智管). It is not affiliated with Apple Inc. “Mac” and “macOS” are trademarks of Apple Inc.

2. What the Software does

MacHands is a native macOS utility that helps you free space on an internal SSD by relocating user-selected, low-priority (“Safe”-tier) data to a volume you designate, while leaving a symlink or stub portal at the original path so many apps and workflows can keep working. It is a path-preserving storage relocation tool, not a junk cleaner, optimizer, or antivirus.

You remain responsible for choosing which items to relocate, verifying backups, and granting only the permissions you are comfortable with (including Full Disk Access if you enable scanning of protected locations).

3. License

Primary: Mac App Store in-app purchase, when the listing is live, unlocking full path-preserving relocation features as offered at purchase time.
Backup: a USD $49 one-time direct license via Paddle (or another processor we designate), when enabled.
Purchase grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software on devices you own or control.
We do not sell ownership of the Software’s source code or trademarks.
Mac App Store editions follow Apple’s license terms in addition to these Terms where applicable.

4. Payments

Mac App Store IAP is the primary paid path. App Store purchases are processed by Apple. A Paddle $49 one-time checkout is a backup channel when announced on the product site; until then, no direct checkout is live. When you buy through Paddle, their buyer terms and privacy policy also apply; taxes may be collected according to your location.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Software to violate law or others’ rights; reverse engineer it except where mandatory law allows; misrepresent it as an official Apple product; bypass license checks; or use optional third-party AI planning in a way that violates that provider’s terms (you supply any API key yourself).

6. Optional AI planner

The Software may offer an optional planning feature that calls a third-party API using an API key you provide. That key is stored in the macOS Keychain on your device when you choose to save it. This product does not resell third-party AI APIs. Network calls using your key are subject to the third-party provider’s terms.

7. Disclaimers

The Software is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tianxin Wang disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Disk operations carry risk; keep backups.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tianxin Wang’s total liability arising from the Software or these Terms is limited to the amounts you paid for the Software in the twelve (12) months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including data loss, except where liability cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes and contact
